Mindfulness is a form of mental activity that trains the mind to become aware of awareness itself and to pay attention to one’s own intentions, from moment to moment to moment.

15 session hours plus workbook and CDs
Please bring a mat and a blanket
During this 6-week-course we will focus on:
• gentle and compassionate ways of being aware of bodily sensations, feelings and thoughts from moment to moment;
• developing mindful acceptance and acknowledgment of unwanted sensations, thoughts, and feelings;
• understanding the stress cycle;
• being able to choose the most skillful response to any unpleasant thoughts, feelings, or situations.
Classes are very experiential and involve a mixture of:
• mindful breathing, walking, sitting, eating, lying down;
• gentle stretching;
